Yvon's Cellar is a location in Octopath Traveler. It is the below-ground floors of Yvon's childhood residence, and is where Yvon flees to with Therese in tow after the latter's rescue of Cyrus from the trap in the floors above. As such, it is where the climax of Cyrus's third chapter takes place.
Although this location is part of the same building as Yvon's Birthplace, they are delineated as separate sections of the dungeon.
Description[]
Beneath Yvon's Birthplace lies Yvon's Cellar, unfolding in a vast, stone-chambered descent through abandoned rooms of crates, bookshelves, and blackboards from Yvon’s past research. These fully furnished—yet deserted—rooms lend a shadowy substance to the dungeon’s forgotten atmosphere, reflecting Yvon’s own moral decay from respectable scholar to conniving, power-hungry murderer. The boss room culminates in an abundance of bookshelves entirely devoid of lighting, creating a dark, musty aura in which to fight a demonic evil.
