Yuetu is a divine beast appearing in the Emberflame Story of Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent.

The divine beast watching over the rabbits. When Galdera declared the war to the 12 gods, Yuetu remained neutral, preferring to not get involved in the conflict. Eventually, the divine beast went into a slumber in the Great Tree's Tears and its embers were entrusted to its rabbit retainers.
Emberflame Story[]
After obtaining the Simurgh's arcanastone, the Cait Sages decide to awaken Yuetu. When Ditraina manages to locate its resting place, Esmeralda ambushes her. The Chosen One manages to catch up with her, but she summons Kulshedra to keep them busy preparing a ritual to summon another false beast and sacrifice it to awaken the Moon Rabbit. She succeeds, but an annoyed Yuetu tells her that he will take orders from no one and warns her to leave before he severs her head off. As Esmeralda flees, the beast turns its attention to the Chosen One, and despite the "Cat of Salvation" pleas, Yuetu attacks them, forcing them to fight in self-defense.
When the battle is over, a calmed Yuetu acknowledges the travelers' strength. Praising their courage, it remarks it couldn't care less about the war between the gods, but wouldn't have any problem in helping a comrade before leaving them its arcanastone.
