Wrath / Lars is a playable character in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. His true identity is Erhardt, a former knight of Hornburg who fought alongside Olberic. Erhardt betrayed the kingdom and slew King Alfred due to the King's (perceived) inaction in stopping a deadly attack on Grynd, his hometown. Afterwards, he began to wander Orsterra, avenging those struck down by evil. After slaying a group of bandits in the Highlands, he overheard rumors of his exploits that dubbed him the "Knight of Wrath", and thusly adopted "Wrath" as a pseudonym.
Appearance[]
Erhardt has long, wavy blonde hair and green eyes. He wears a knight uniform similar to Olberic's, with a black surcoat over a red shirt, white gloves, and gold-colored shoulder guards and bracers. In the prequel, he also wears a mask over his face to conceal his identity.
Personality[]
After Hornburg fell, he began traveling the land with no specific destination in mind. He condemns those he sees as villains and targets them as vengeance for their evil. Erhardt is depicted as being much more vengeful and hot-headed than he is in Octopath Traveler, as he has yet to settle down in Wellspring as its guardian or reconcile with Olberic.
