- "The Woodlands are perhaps one of the most verdant, undeveloped regions. Of particular interest is the village of S'warkii, which lies deep within the Darkwood - a place steeped in magic since ancient times, which is why many of the local hunters are proficient in its usage even today. Veritable embodiments of S'warkii's traditions, one might say..." —History of the Woodlands
The Woodlands are a forested region in northwestern Orsterra. This region contains the towns of S'warkii (home to the hunter H'aanit), Victors Hollow, and Duskbarrow.
Located within a vast forest, the Woodlands is home to many hunters and wild beasts. Due to its isolated geography, the Woodlands's culture differs from that of the rest of the Orsterra, causing its secluded natives to speak in a unique dialect. Most of the settlements in this region are small villages filled with wooden cabins, shaded by the trees and surrounded by the rustling of leaves.
To the south of the Woodlands lies the Cliftlands; to the east, the Frostlands awaits. The vast Verdant Deep lies to the west of the woods, and in the Woodlands' heart rests the Shrine of the Huntress.

Trivia[]
- Because the Woodlands reflect H'aanit's character, the region was designed to make its cultural differences from other regions clear at a glance. The developers captured this ambiance in game, creating the feeling of being encircled by trees without being visually hedged in.[1]
