- "A traveler? Why, you've got strange tastes if you wound up in a place as cold as this." —Townsperson
Winterbloom is a snowy town in Octopath Traveler II, located in the Winterlands. It is the setting for Throné's Chapter 2: Father's Route and Castti's Chapter 2: Winterbloom Route, as well as a destination for Partitio's Scent of Commerce quest.
Prior to Castti's Chapter 2, Lady Rosa rules this town. After the chapter's completion, Melia and Greg serve as Winterbloom's co-rulers.

Etymology[]
"Winterbloom" is comprised of "winter" + "bloom," referring to the town's snowbound location and perhaps also the apothecarial connection of its leader's herb garden with restorative plants. "Bloom" could also refer to the town's flourishing, past or present, or the change that Greg intends to bring to it.
