Toto'haha Emblem
Toto'haha (トト・ハハ島, Toto Haha Shima) is one of eight regions in the continent of Solistia. As a tropical island region, Toto'haha contains many colorful creatures, ancient ruins, and dense jungles.
Southeastern Solistia is dominated by an ocean dotted by countless islands of all shapes and sizes. The largest of these is Toto'haha, which was first encountered by continental pioneers twenty years ago.
Its western side is populated by beastlings, petite people with animal features, while the eastern side is populated by humans. The northern part of the island, accessible only by canoe, is home to the Nameless Village. Both beastlings and humans dwell within Beasting Village, while only humans inhabit Tropu'hopu and only beastlings inhabit the Nameless Village.
On account of its proximity to New Delsta, Tropu'hopu was developed as a resort for the wealthy. In addition, the city produces many luxury goods, such as delicious coffee beans, and now serves as an important stop along the trade routes between eastern and western continents.
Since ancient times, the beastlings have long referred to the northern of the two islands as Haha and the southern as Toto. However, ever since a local festival celebrating the bonds of family and the prosperity of the entire beastling race was established, the names of both islands have been combined into one: Toto'haha.

Trivia[]
- Toto'haha is the equivalent of the Riverlands from the first game.
- Toto'haha is populated by flocks of red islebirds, which are more sensitive to danger than anyone else and therefore easily spooked. When they take to the sky, calamity may be near at hand.
- When fast traveling to a location in Toto'haha, the menu will refer to the continent as "the Toto'haha," which is likely an oversight designed to fit the other regions' names.
- Toto'haha is home to a delectable shishkaba fruit, which often sees beastlings and animals racing to the harvest.
- The ingredients for kanpo, a traditional medicine practiced in Hinoeuma, grow abundantly in the interior of Toto'haha.
- When composing the music for Toto'haha, Yasunori Nishiki aimed to achieve a sense of consistency with Ochette’s character theme by including the same kind of percussion alongside rhythm loops with a vaguely stone-like feel. The visuals for Toto'haha are among his favorites, as the ancient ruins with shimmering streams running through them make powerful, beautiful imagery. He yearned to musically convey the ineffable romance of crumbling architecture within a natural setting.[1]
- Toto'haha is the only region to host two final story chapters, those of Ochette and Temenos.
- Alongside Hinoeuma, Toto'haha is one of two regions that doesn't have "lands" in its name.
- According to the head of the Apothecaries Guild, the rare Herb-of-Grace Bud grows on Tota'haha and the surrounding islands. Its effects (curing petrification) are as yet unknown to the medical community.
