Tomb of Kings is an optional location in Octopath Traveler. This dungeon is situated on a lower level of West Stonegard Pass, beyond a fork in the road which by a higher elevation leads to the Everhold region.
Description[]
Tomb of Kings is a vast cavern filled with ruins from the Ventus Dynasty. The cavern's entrance is decorated with several scattered candles, which lead into the crumbling remains of a massive castle. Huge staircases, arched walls, and frequent walls of rubble lend the structure an incredible sense of scope, culminating in a dramatic staircase leading to the top.
The heart of the tomb contains a pillared inner sanctum, housing multiple soldier statues, candles, a solitary gravestone, and a mural depicting angels. In this sanctuary stands the Nameless Gravekeeper, who retells the collapse of the Ventus Dynasty following a civil war between the younger prince Simeon and his illegitimate older brother.
