Profile[]
Appearance[]
Therese has long silver hair and wears a white dress. Her eyes are blue.
Personality[]
Therese is generally quiet and shy, but is willing to take action for things she is passionate about, such as her affection for Cyrus. She is also quite jealous of Princess Mary and not above spreading false rumors in order to take revenge, although she quickly finds contrition when her slander grows out of hand. In the end, she proves herself devoted to Cyrus and risks her safety to rescue him, accepting with good humor his inability to recognize her advances.
Story[]
Octopath Traveler[]
Therese is first seen in Atlasdam as one of Cyrus's students alongside Princess Mary. She often felt ignored by her professor due to Mary asking questions and speaking with him frequently. In her jealousy, she goes to Headmaster Yvon to falsely report that Cyrus is in an illicit affair with the princess, leading to him being placed on a sabbatical. As Cyrus is leaving, she confronts him and tries to apologize to him for what happened. Cyrus tells her that it was what he needed to solve a long-standing mystery regarding a missing tome. He then departs the area, leaving Therese behind.
Later, however, she overhears Yvon talk of murdering Cyrus and leaves to warn him. Therese follows Cyrus all the way to Stonegard and eventually finds him in the dungeon of Yvon's Birthplace. After freeing him, she is captured by Yvon and is about to be killed by him when Cyrus confronted and defeated Yvon in battle. Wounded from her capture, she is brought to an inn to recuperate. She reveals that the headmaster was planning on heading to Duskbarrow to meet with someone. She was then left behind to recover, but not before Cyrus assured her that he would have someone trustworthy watch over her as well as send her new assignments.
Therese returns to Atlasdam at some point after Cyrus solves the mystery of the missing tome. Finding him in the library, she reminds him that his class was about to start before Princess Mary arrives to reprimand him on his tardiness. She is last seen in his ending credit putting a blanket over him after he fell asleep during research.
