- "Mmhm, this cold feels like Stormhail. You'd best get inside as soon as you can." —Townsperson at the city entrance
Stormhail is a town in Octopath Traveler II, located in the far northern reaches of the Winterlands. It is the location for Ochette's Chapter 2: Glacis Route; Temenos's Chapter 3: Stormhail Route; and Hikari's Chapter 4.
Home to both the Sacred Guard and Clan Mei, Stormhail suffers from the power struggles of between ruling groups. The Sacred Guard was established first, but under their rule the city reported suffered strife before the arrival of Clan Mei. The Sacred Guard's methods are ruthless, imprisoning, torturing, and executing townspeople whom they deem to be heretics.
Stormhail is buffeted by a ceaseless blizzard blown down from the peak of Sacred Peak Altahe, where the guardian Glacis resides. Many years ago, Glacis saved the city from a blizzard that threatened to bury the land, but now the way to the mountain has been walled off for Glacis's protection. The blizzard ceases after Ochette's chapter is complete.
