Solistia is the setting for Octopath Traveler II.
This world is comprised of an Eastern and Western continent divided by the Sundering Sea. It takes place in a bustling era, wherein large vessels navigate busy sea routes and the power of steam gives birth to new technologies.

Trivia[]
- According to a Scholar in Montwise: Library, Solistia's eastern and western continents may have been united as a single landmass at one point in the past.
- During the Age of Exploration 100 years ago, ships set out from Canalbrine to find sea routes leading to the eastern continent.
- The four uncharted corners of Solistia are known as the Outer Continent.
- At one point during Solistia's seasons, a constellation of red and blue stars form a cross known as Cetus, the Bearded Whale.
- For years, Solistia's daylight hours have been growing slightly shorter, extending the duration of the night. This development likely hints at the coming return of the Shadow.
- Solistia may be more advanced in monster taming than Orsterra, as evidenced by Solistia's experiments on monsters for their natural use of magic and increased knowledge of demihumans (which also appeared in Orsterra).
