Etymology[]
Her name in the japanese version is "Cygna", a latin word for swan.
Trivia[]
- Signa doesn't match her appearance nor the pattern in their names with the other ring maidens.
- Her name (accounting the japanese version), it's likely to be a reference to the "The Ugly Duckling" tale from Christian Andersen, but played in reverse, with her starting as a swan who betrays her family, then turned into the unsighty creature.
