- "Geoffrey is happy, wherever he is. I'm certain of it." —In East Noblecourt
Revello Forsythe is a character in Octopath Traveler. He is the former lieutenant commander of the city watch in Noblecourt, and a close friend of Geoffrey Azelhart.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
Revello has short brown hair and a mustache. He wears a green tunic over a white shirt and black pants.
Personality[]
Revello is a loyal and noble man, remaining true to his ideals even after Geoffrey's assassination. However, years of investigating the Obsidians' corruption led him to become disillusioned and somewhat world-weary, leading him to counsel Primrose against interference in their criminal affairs. When Primrose resolves to confront the Obsidians anyway, Revello takes heart and demonstrates his nobility of character by accompanying her into the Obsidian Manse.
Story[]
Revello was somewhat rebellious in his youth, but reformed his ways after receiving a vigorous scolding from Geoffrey. Together, the two founded the town watch.
As a member of the city watch, Revello helped keep peace in Noblecourt alongside Geoffrey Azelhart with the help of Captain Albus. The city watch was forced to disband following the murder of Geoffrey by Simeon and his two men, and the Obsidians seized power in Noblecourt. Revello's status then fell to that of a minor landowner with little power or influence of which to speak.
A decade after the fall of House Azelhart, Revello is greeted by Primrose, who has returned to her hometown seeking the truth. After expressing caution about her current path and telling her more about the Obsidians, he agreed to assist her by taking her to the Obsidian's hideout. Inside, he was shocked to find Albus, his former superior, in league with the Obsidians. Enraged at Albus's deception, he attempts to attack him, only to be stopped by Primrose, who engages Albus herself and kills him. After the battle, he compliments Primrose and leaves the room. Upon seeing Simeon leave the same room a short time later, he reenters it to find a wounded Primrose on the floor.
Three days later, he informs a recovering Primrose that Simeon retreated to the town of Everhold and wishes Primrose a safe journey before she departs Noblecourt.
