- "House Ravus ain't known to be kind to those who cover their wealth. Still, poor thieves can't help but flock to that manor like moths to a flame. Suppose it's all those rumors of their riches that keep 'em comin'. Some say it's enough to buy up the whole town and then some." —Barkeep in Lower Bolderfall, warning Therion away from the manor
Ravus Manor is a dungeon in Octopath Traveler and the dungeon of Therion's Chapter 1. This pristine mansion sits in the higher levels of Bolderfall, home to Cordelia Ravus and her butler, Heathcote.
Description[]
Ravus Manor is a beautiful mansion with a cream-white color scheme, augmented by a general lack of carpeting and flora that includes bushes and a sapling by the first-floor windows. Gold accents complement the manse's white coloration, and the manor also includes a library and a three-tiered second half, which emphasizes the manse’s scale. Far from being a villain’s gloomy mansion, Ravus Manor reflects the affluence and kindness of its owner. The boss room contains a balcony and a table lined with pedestals, upon which repose the magical dragonstones, each appearing on the table once Therion has retrieved it.
Story[]
Several years before the events of the game, the four dragonstones of House Ravus were stolen. Heathcote, the butler of House Ravus, managed to retrieve one of the dragonstones but was unable to retrieve the others due to his old age. To retrieve the remaining dragonstones, Cordelia Ravus and Heathcote devise a plan to lure thieves to the manor by tightening the manor's security and convincing the barkeep to spread rumors of the mansion's treasure. Therion, hearing the rumors of the Ravus' treasure, sneaks into the manor and reaches the room where the dragonstones are kept, only to find himself challenged to battle by Heathcote. Therion defeats Heathcote, but Heathcote manages to plant a Fool's Bangle on his wrist, telling him that he will only remove it if Therion retrieves the other three dragonstones for House Ravus.

Trivia[]
- As each dragonstone is collected during Therion's storyline, they appear in Ravus Manor in the same room where Heathcote was fought.
- The outside of Ravus Manor bears a resemblance to House Azelhart's mansion in East Noblecourt.
- Even after Therion's story is complete and he gains the trust of the Ravuses, the manor's front door never opens, leaving the dungeon accessible only through its eastern window.
- The Traveling Peddler in Ravus Manor is one of the few traders whose presence in his Ch. 1 dungeon makes clear story-based sense; he is presumably a merchant with a letter of introduction presenting his wares to the household.
