Quicksand Caves is an optional dungeon location in Octopath Traveler. This sandy cavern is located in the Northern Wellspring Sands, terrorized by a Giant Python and its charmer.
Description[]
Quicksand Caves is a desert cavern, its dark ground contrasting with its streams of pale sand. Near the boss room, the rocks break to provide a glimpse of the sky, along with sand piles scattered like heaps of golden treasure around the fringes of the cave. For a time, Quicksand Caves becomes the hideout of a vengeful snake charmer and his reptilian pet, who prey on passersby.

Injured Scout - Scrutinize to get the Suspicious Man to fight.
Suspicious Man - Located at the end of the dungeon. Talking to him triggers a boss fight, whose completion is required for the quest Shadow over the Sands.
