Omniscient Eye is an optional boss in Octopath Traveler II. It is the first phase of Galdera, the Fallen.

Battle[]

  • A soul of the dead emerged from Galdera's body! // Eternal Rancor protects the eye!: Used as the first action of the first turn, before any other actions can be taken, and throughout the fight. Summons a Raging Soul, Screaming Soul and Wailing Soul to the battlefield, locks all weaknesses and gains permanent Invincibility. Effect ends once all souls have been killed. Immediately followed by Counter Resistance.
  • Counter Resistance // Attacks that do not target weak points will be countered!: Buff, targets all souls. Counters all attacks that don't hit a weak point with Eye for an Eye. Will be automatically reapplied whenever the souls respawn.
  • Spacial Dominion: Flames of Anguish // The heat drains your HP!: Aura. Deals damage to entire party at the end of the turn until replaced by another aura.
  • Spacial Dominion: Chilling Prison // The cold drains your SP: Aura. Reduces SP of entire party at the end of the turn until replaced by another aura.
  • Electrocute: Elemental attack, targets entire party. Deals damage to entire party.
  • Searing Orb: Elemental attack, single target. Deals heavy damage.
  • Elemental Drain: Debuff, targets entire party. Inflicts Decreased Elemental Attack for 3 turns.
  • Elemental Veil: Buff, targets all enemies. Grants Increased Elemental Defense for 3 turns.
  • The unholy eye shudders ominously... // Your party's status enhancements have been nullified!:
  • A mysterious force surrounds the soul!: Used immediately after summoning souls at 75% HP. Locks all weaknesses on all souls except for one (, and respectively). Whenever souls receive damage, they will change their exposed weakness to the next weakness in order.
  • Call of the Dead // It appears more will emerge as long as at least one other soul remains...:
  • Eternal Rancor has turned into a curse! // The curse will persist until you defeat the souls of the dead...: Used immediately after summoning souls at 50% HP. Adds a colored timer on three allies, at values of 2,3 and 4. The color of the timer corresponds to one soul each. If a cursed traveler gets incapacitated, they will get permanently disappear from the battle, with no way to revive them. Once the timer runs out, the affected traveler gets incapacitated.
  • The eye absorbs the souls of the dead!:

Omniscient Eye does not lock its weaknesses nor gains Invincibility from this point on.

  • The eye absorbs the souls of the dead! // The eye gains the power of the souls!: Used immediately after summoning the souls at 25% HP. Destroys all active souls, heals for 10,000 HP and permanently increases maximum shield points from 8 to 16 and actions per turn to 4. Unlocks the use of Evil Eye. Omniscient Eye will never summon souls past this point.
  • Evil Eye: Inflicts Petrification to a single ally.
