Biography (Champions of the Continent)[]
Olneo runs the Colzione Family Provisioners. In his youth, he was a traveling merchant. He even met his wife Marina on the road. But his dream was to set up shop in his hometown, Rippletide. On the year his beloved daughter was born, that dream finally came true. Apparently, he recently gave his daughter a hat.
Story[]
Olneo spent his youth as a traveling merchant, and he met his wife Marina during his travels. However, he dreamed of establishing his own shop in his hometown of Rippletide, and that dream came true the same day that his daughter Tressa was born.
In the present day, Olneo runs the Colzione Family Provisioners from his home in Rippletide. He employed Tressa as an assistant in her youth, sending her to run errands and collect the shop's wares.
One morning, when Tressa headed out to purchase the day's supplies of wine and fish, the town was invaded by pirates who stole his daughter's hard-earned wares. After Tressa tricked and defeated the pirates, bringing home her town's goods, she told her parents that she wanted to travel the world. Olneo attempted to stall her, saying that she had to spend more time stocking the shelves and running the shop, but Tressa insisted that her mind was made up. Olneo saw her off, hoping that her journey's experiences would make her an even better merchant than before.
At the end of her journey, Tressa returned home, where she regaled her parents with tales of her adventures. Olneo listened eagerly, a sparkle in his eye.

Etymology[]
Olneo's surname "Colzione" is likely derived from the Italian word "collezione," meaning "collection." This name suits him as a merchant selling a collection of wares.
Trivia[]
- The Colzione family shop offers Healing Grapes, Inspiriting Plums, and Olives of Life (an inventory identical to that of Traveling Peddlers, who appear in Ch. 1 dungeons).
- In early concept art, Olneo was originally planned to wear a phoenix feather in his hat, which served as a charm for prosperous sales and a safe family. He was also going to sport a mustache and thick eyebrows.[1]
