Trivia[]
- Octopuff Travelers are a thinly veiled reference to the series name, Octopath Traveler.
- Each tier of Octopuff Traveler level has the same stats as their Cait counterpart (e.g., a King Octopuff has the same stats as a Chubby Cait).
- Octopuff Travelers may be based off the flapjack octopus.
- Octopuffs are the most independent of Solistia's demihumans. According to legend, they did not fight in the great war between demihumans and humans, instead preferring their lives of constant travel.
- Octopuffs are viewed as symbols of good fortune; some say that only the pure of heart can encounter them.
- Because Octopuffs are drawn to small, dark spaces, they can be lured into octopuff pots.
