- "Dignity, glamour, chaos, and tradition... That is the scent of this city!" —Traveler
New Delsta is a town in Octopath Traveler II. It is where Throné resides and is the setting for Chapter 1 of her story, as well for Agnea's Chapter 2; Osvald's and Partitio's first Crossed Path; and the game's ending Epilogue.
According to the Mercantile Manuscript, as the Brightlands developed, buildings like theaters and game parlors were erected to entertain the ever-growing crowds. Now the light of civilization shines as bright here as the sun does overhead, and at the center of all of this lies the Brightlands' beating heart: New Delsta. Established approximately fifty years ago by emigrants from the former kingdom of Delstasch, the people gave this new home a name that honored their old.

- Yasunori Nishiki composed the theme "A Sensational City" as one of the soundtrack’s showcase tracks, making it viscerally clear how far the world of Octopath Traveler II has come. The music's sleek, metropolitan vibe conveys the sense of a civilization ready and raring to go, combining the swing spirit of jazz with classical elements. The swinging drums in the night version of the piece are played with brushes instead of sticks, conjuring up the mysterious, moody streets of an after-hours metropolis.[1]
