Nameless Village is a town in Octopath Traveler II. Inhabited by a small populace of Beastlings, this tradition-bound jungle town is the setting for Temenos's Chapter 4.

Nameless Village is ruled by a mayor, with a child kept in seclusion to be raised as heir. The current heir is a seven-year-old girl, also called a "vessel," who is forbidden to leave her home. The current mayor bears scars on her back from her own time as heir, though no one knows how she got them.

The village's inhabitants watch over the Wandering Wood and the Rifted Rock beyond, offering guidance to travelers who seek to undertake the "trial" of visiting the ritual site.

Etymology

"Nameless Village" seems to be a placeholder title for a name that the native beastlings lack, which may be on account of their culture not naming cities or a name being forbidden on account of the village's ominous Shadow-related history.

• The Nameless Village's alcohol is implied to be brewed from bugs and venomous snakes.
• One of the Beastlings in the village was once captured and exhibited by humans.
