Merchant is a starting job in Octopath Traveler II. It is Partitio Yellowil's primary job.
Guild Location[]
The Merchants Guild is located in Western Crackridge Wilds in the Wildlands.
Travel to Crackridge and take the west exit to Western Crackridge Wilds. From the save point, travel northwest and cross the land bridge and the north-south wooden bridge. Climb the ladder to the small ledge to find the Merchants Guild Master near the tent. Speak to the Merchants Guild Master to receive a Merchant License.
