- "Lately I've been learning from Paul about the political systems he has observed in other lands. Someday I will be queen and must dedicate my life to the betterment of my people... That is why I will never stop trying to learn all I can to prepare myself to support my people." —In the Royal Academy of Atlasdam

Profile[]
Appearance[]
Princess Mary has pale golden hair reaching her lower back, and two three-strand braids on each side of her head tied together at the back of her head. She is dressed in white and gold finery.
Personality[]
Princess Mary is described by Professor Paul, who was her tutor until she was seven years old, as having been an energetic girl, using broken branches as play swords and running unchecked through the royal gardens. She had also been mischievous and played a prank on her tutor by hiding his priceless book inside the palace chimneys, causing it to be ruined, for which she was ashamed. When she was forgiven, she worked hard to fill out the pages of the ruined book by her own lived experiences.
Princess Mary is studious and clever, and has a keen wish to become a good ruler, something she expresses to Cyrus. She is also polite and soft-spoken.
Story[]
Princess Mary is first seen in Cyrus's class alongside Therese. She is quick to answer questions and ask them as well, receiving continuous praise and attention from their professor.
Therese, who harbors unreciprocated feelings for Cyrus, reports a false rumor to the headmaster, Yvon, out of jealousy. She claims an illicit relationship between Cyrus and the princess, which results in Cyrus leaving the academy on sabbatical.
After Cyrus returned from his sabbatical, Princess Mary went to find Cyrus in the library and reprimanded him for his tardiness before Cyrus starts his lecture with his new class.
