Makk is an enemy in Octopath Traveler II. He appears alongside Plukk and Mikk in Chapter 2: Winterbloom Route of Castti's story.
History[]
Currently 31 years old, Makk formerly worked on a corrupt merchant ship. He tried to abscond with the money, but got caught, and was about to suffer the punishment when Plukk rescued him. Now, he wishes that she would wash her hands of thievery and find true happiness.

- Bottle of Sleepweed: Effect, inflicts Sleep on one party member for 3 turns.
- Sweet-Talk: Effect, always targets Plukk. Grants Increased Physical Attack for 3 turns.
- Bemusing Strike: Physical attack, inflicts Decreased Accuracy for 3 turns.
- Your defenses are done for!: Effect, inflicts Decreased Physical Defense to all party members for 1 turn.
- I'll get you for that!: Effect, grants Makk Increased Physical Attack and Increased Physical Defense for 6 turns.

- Makk is waiting for his chance to strike!: Activates when Plukk enters boost mode. Makk enters boost mode for one turn.

- Multispin Attack: Physical attack, targets entire party and hits 3 times.

- Makk's "Bottle of Sleepweed" move is a reference to the original Octopath Traveler, where Tressa used sleepweed to spike the wine given to the pirates led by the duo of the same names.
- After the completion of Plukk's sidequest, Makk can be found alongside her and Mikk in Melia's garden in the day and Winterbloom: Thieves' Quarter at night.
- During the game's epilogue in New Delsta, Makk exclaims, "I never thought I'd be walking free through these streets!", implying that he has had past misadventures in the city.
