The King of Sa is a minor character in Octopath Traveler II. He appears briefly during Hikari's story, where Mugen executes him after conquering the nation of Sa.

Personality[]
Little is known about the King of Sa's personality, as he swiftly perished as a figurehead of his country. Whatever his personal traits, he likely did not expect Mugen's wickedness and failed to protect Sa from Ku's treachery.
Story[]
During Jigo Ku's reign, the nation of Ku made a peace treaty with Sa, promising to protect it in exchange for a portion of its resources. When Mugen came to power, he broke Ku's peace treaty and waged war on Sa. Rejecting Ageha's advice to use the conquered people of Sa in his war efforts, Mugen ordered that Sa's populace should be massacred to prevent any potential rebellion.
Mugen's forces took the King of Sa prisoner, and Mugen executed him in Castle Ku's throne room.
