Profile[]
Appearance[]
Joe has short black hair. He wears a white shirt, blue overalls, and an orange hat.
Personality[]
Joe is a vivacious individual who curses in times of desperation, stands up to Giff and refuses to hand over any more leaves, and happily returns Partitio's greetings. He is confident in his ability to tell a gripping story. Ever since losing a duel to Partitio, Joe has admired Partitio's strength and been a loyal companion to him; his most prized possession is the coin he received from Partitio.
Story[]
As a longstanding member of Partitio's posse, Joe helps Partitio oust Giff and the other ruffians who attempt to take over Oresrush's profits. When silver prices drop and the town falls into poverty until the landowner's greedy grasp, Joe and his pals fall on hard times. Struggling to find work, they scrape by on what food they can.
Eventually, the group suffers so much that unrest breaks out among its members, with Harry stealing Nikki's bread crust. At Partitio's orders, Harry returns the stolen bread, while Partitio splits his own bread among the group. After Giff shows up and mocks the starving group, Partitio decides that enough is enough and rallies his posse to confront Giff.
Together, Partitio and his gang oust Giff from his position of power, discovering that the landowner falsified his contract in order to cheat the townspeople out of their rightful profits. With this treachery exposed, the town of Oresrush can begin to thrive again. Joe's three friends later share jokes with him, helping him woo the girl of his dreams after she caught his attention by treating his wounds.

Etymology[]
"Joe" is a shortened version of the Hebrew name "Joseph," which means "he will increase" or "God will add." Joe's name thus speaks to his relationship with poverty and prosperity, led to an increase by Partitio.
