Inquire is Castti Florenz's Path Action in Octopath Traveler. This ability allows Castti to obtain information from townsfolk by chatting with them.
Gameplay[]
Castti may only inquire townspeople once she is at or above the target's inquire level threshold. This threshold may be lowered in certain towns by gleaning information from specific NPCs.
The information and benefits obtainable from all information gathering path actions are the same; if Castti successfully inquires a townsperson, using Scrutinize, Coerce, or Bribe will all yield the same information.

A successful inquiry may yield one of many benefits:
- Knowledge, which can be used to advance the story or complete certain side stories

- Discount at the Inn: Rest at the local Inn for less money
