Hunter is a recurring job.
Hunter is a starting job in Octopath Traveler II. It is Ochette's primary job.
Guild Location[]
The Hunters Guild is located in Western Tropu'hopu Traverse in Toto'haha.
Travel to Tropu'hopu and take the west exit to Western Tropu'hopu Traverse. Travel along the beach and enter the ruins to the west of the save point. Continue through the ruins and enter an opening along the treeline to the west to find the Hunters Guild Master next to a fire pit and tent. Speak to the Hunters Guild Master to receive a Hunter License.
Additional Licenses[]
To obtain additional Hunter Licenses, the following tasks must be completed:
Task Name | Description | Requirements |
---|---|---|
Monster in the Sand | There's a foul creature lurking in the quicksand. Any who enter its territory are swallowed whole. Catch it, and I will give you a license. | Quicksand Monster's Liver x 1 |
Shadow in the Water | A sailor told me he saw a large shadow within a whirlpool. Rumor has it that this beast is the source of those swirling tides. Catch it, and I will give you another license. | Sea Monster's Whisker x 1 |

Trivia[]
- When using Abating Orb on the Darkling of the Sorrowful Moon prior to its final phase, it somehow removes the scripted lock on it via glitch that stops it from being killed at 1 HP, enabling it to be killed before it takes its last form.
