"I dance my heart out, and nobody cares! Will no one come watch my curtain call?" —Blue Dancer

Her Time to Shine is a side story in Octopath Traveler. The tale begins by speaking to the Blue Dancer inside the dancers' dormitory in Sunshade.

Blue Dancer Sunshade Location

Blue Dancer, Sunshade

Resolution[]

The side story may be resolved using one of two methods:

Purchase / Steal[]

Successfully use the Purchase or Steal path action to obtain the Diva's Dress from the Star Dancer (  LeafLeaf 1,710 /  Lvl 1 ), located in the western section of Sunshade.
The tale ends once the Diva's Dress is given to the Blue Dancer.
"The dancer finally got to wear the dress of the star performer for her last dance, fulfilling her lifelong dream."

Guide / Allure[]

Successfully use the Guide or Allure path action on the Blue Dancer (  Min Lvl: 10 /  Base: 60% ).
The tale ends once the Blue Dancer is brought to the Sickly Girl right outside of the dancer's dormitory in Sunshade
"Seeing herself in the sickly girl, the dancer encouraged her to believe in herself and in a future where she would be well enough to dance."

Epilogue[]

Upon completion of the side story, the following occurs:

  • If the Purchase/Steal path is chosen, the Blue Dancer leaves the dancer's dormitory and relocates near the base of the stairs leading to the Sunshade Tavern.

Trivia[]

  • Star Dancer, Sickly Girl, and Pensive Mother appear only after finishing Primrose's Chapter 1 story.
  • The Pensive Mother offers a hint for the side story, noting that all her daughter, the Sickly Girl, speaks of is the "blue-dancing girl that she saw the last time she went to the town fete" and musing if she could meet the "blue-dancing girl" again.
