Guilds are a game mechanic introduced in Octopath Traveler II that act as a mechanism for travelers to acquire the ability to equip Secondary Jobs.

There are a total of 8 guilds around Solistia, one for each of the 8 starting jobs. Within each guild is a Guild Master that rewards the travelers with a job license, allowing the travelers to equip the associated guild's job as a secondary job.

Guild Locations[]

Each job guild is located within the same region as the primary job's traveler. For instance, the Hunter Guild is located in Toto'haha, the same region as Ochette, the hunter.

Job Licenses[]

Speaking to the Guild Master for the first time will give the travelers a job license that allows the travelers to equip the guild's job as a secondary job.

Two additional licenses may be obtained for each job once certain tasks have been completed, allowing multiple travelers in the same party to equip the same secondary job at the same time, for a total of three licenses obtainable per job.
