Gonska the Clown is an enemy in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. He serves as the boss of Master of All Chapter VII.

Battle[]

  • Attack - Deal standard physical damage to single target.
  • Bewitchment: Deal Type Dark damage to single target. Inflict Status Can't Switch Can't Switch (The traveler will be unable to be switched) for 3 turns.
  • Wild Bewitchment: Deal Type Dark damage to random target 2 time(s). Inflict Status Can't Switch Can't Switch (The traveler will be unable to be switched) with every attack for 3 turns.
  • Energy Absorption: Deal physical damage to Front. Restore BP by 3 (per traveler).
  • Shadow Magic (All) - Deal Type Dark damage to Front 2 time(s).
  • Tenebrae Operire (All) - Deal Type Dark damage to Front 3 time(s).
  • Gonska the Clown readied themselves!: Used after recovering from a break. Add 4 shield points to self in first break and 6 in the latter ones. Impart self with permanent Buff Phys. Atk. Up Phys. Atk. Up  and changes weakness set in the order shown below.
    • Type DaggersType BowsType StavesType IceType Light
    • Type PolearmsType DaggersType StavesType IceType Light
    • Type SwordsType DaggersType AxesType IceType Light
  • Blessing of Protection: Impart self with Buff Shield Regen Shield Regen (The target will recover 4 shield points at the end of the turn) for 4 turns.
  • The energy absorbed from Gonska the Clown is overflowing!: At 10 BPs. Gonska the Clown enters boost mode. He will unleash his energy if not broken before his next action.
    • Gonska the Clown has unleashed his energy!: Deal heavy physical damage to Front.
