Profile[]
Appearance[]
Geoffrey has medium-length blond hair and wears a red tunic over a white shirt.
Personality[]
Geoffrey is shown to be a wise and steadfast lord, embodying the motto of faith in one's convictions. He raises Primrose to be kind, just, and strong, therefore embodying the most noble traits of a leader. However, Geoffrey also harbors a keen interest in the glory of his household; he impresses upon Primrose the importance of political power from a young age, teaching her that one of the crucial aspects of nobility is ensuring that "no other house might overshadow our own."
Story[]
(I don't think this is where I should be going at the moment...) The following section contains potential story spoilers! |
As the lord of Noblecourt, Geoffrey kept crime infrequent alongside the city watch. Revello Forsythe, the lieutenant commander of the city watch, was a close friend of his.
Geoffrey raised Primrose with the expectation that House Azelhart would one day rest upon her shoulders. He taught her the house motto, "faith shall be your shield," and supported her passion for dancing.
When the Obsidians began infiltrating Noblecourt, Geoffrey refused to buy into their promises. The Obsidians responded with multiple attempts on his life, but Geoffrey survived until ten years prior to the events of Octopath Traveler, when he was killed by three men bearing the mark of the crow: one on his left arm, one on his right arm, and the last on his neck.
Geoffrey was buried in his hometown of Noblecourt. Primrose, having borne witness to her father's murder, swore to avenge him.
After avenging his death, Primrose finally visits his grave and admits that she doesn't know where to go from there, but is proud to have lived by how he taught her.
At the Gate of Finis, a journal appears, detailing the thoughts of Geoffrey after his death. He reveals he was killed due to his knowledge of the Gate of Finis and his attempt to interfere with the Obsidians' affairs. He tells his daughter that he heard what she said at his grave and that he is proud of her. He hopes she will find her own happiness and he will always be watching over her.
