Flamesgrace Cathedral is a location in Octopath Traveler. Also known as the Great Cathedral, it is one of four major cathedrals in Orsterra, built to honor Aelfric who created the Sacred Flame that brings light to the continent. It also serves as the starting location for the story of Ophilia Clement, who lives there with her adoptive sister and father, Lianna and Josef respectively.

- In Octopath Traveler, the side story "Lianna and Eliza" is unavailable until after completing both Ophilia's and H'aanit's Chapter 4.
- During one flashback cutscene in Ophilia's Chapter 1, a belltower is visible to the left of the Flamesgrace Cathedral's main spire. This detail is otherwise impossible to see in normal gameplay.
- Within the Order of the Sacred Flame's cathedrals, only chosen clerics are allowed beyond the gate that cordons off the sanctuary from the altar of the Sacred Flame.[1]
- The cleric behind the altar says, "There are rumors, however, of heretics who worship a black flame of evil," foreshadowing Ophilia's Chapter 4. This dialogue never changes, not even when Ophilia's story is complete and these rumors have solidified into fact.
- During her Chapter 1, Ophilia can rest for free in the bottom left bed on the western side of the cathedral. This feature becomes inaccessible once the chapter has been completed.
