The Divine Beast Simurgh is an enemy in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. It is the boss of Emberflame Story Chapter VIII.

damage to single target 2 time(s).
- Raging Luminescence - Deal
damage to random target 3 time(s). Inflict
Light Res. Down with every attack for 3 turns.
- Thousand Scythes - Deal
damage to Front.
- Blinding Light (All) - Deal
damage to Front 2 time(s).
- Weakness Counter Stance - Impart self with permanent
Counter Enfeebling (The target will counter damage within their weaknesses). Counters with Luminescence Judgement. Effect is removed upon break.
- Simurgh's wings begin to glow...: After recovering from a break. Cast
Countdown on self for 3 turns. It will be followed by Sacred Rebirth if not broken before the countdown's end.
- Simurgh stands ready!: Divine Beast Simurgh enters boost mode. Uses Scintilla Corunscans (All) if not broken before its next action.
- Simurgh's flames intensifies!: At 25% HP or less. Restores 5 shield points. Impart self with permanent
Steadfast Defense (The target's shield point will stand several hits from the same attacker) and
Elem. Atk. Up . Effects are removed upon break.
