This page is about the battle against Divine Beast Kulshedra. For the main character page, see Kulshedra.

The Divine Beast Kulshedra is an enemy in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. It is fought multiple times in Emberflame Story.

Battle

This section is about the second phase of the final battle in Emberflame Story Chapter IV. For the first phase of the final battle, see Black-Clad Shadow

  • Dark power surges from within...: Start of battle. Impart self with permanent Sword Res. Up , Polearm Res. Up , Dagger Res. Up , Axe Res. Up , Bow Res. Up , Staff Res. Up , Tome Res. Up , Fan Res. Up , Fire Res. Up , Ice Res. Up , Lightning Res. Up , Wind Res. Up , Light Res. Up , Dark Res. Up , , Vim and Vigor (The target will gain some HP at the end of their turn) , Shield Regen (The target will recover {{{3}}} shield points at the end of the turn) and Rehabilitate (Grants immunity to status ailments and special effects). Effect wouldn't be removed unless the Divine Beast Stollenwurm is summoned after the cutscene in the third turn.
    • Claw Swipe - Deal physical damage to Front.
    • Great magical power collects around Kulshedra!: Impart self with permanent Phys. Atk. Up  and Elem. Atk. Up .
    • Breath of Kulshedra - Deal damage to Front.
    • Power swells up within Kulshedra!: Divine Beast Kulshedra enters boost mode. Uses Eruption of Chaos if the Stollenwurm's Arcanastone isn't used after the cutscene in the third turn.
      • Eruption of Chaos - Deal 99999 damage to Front.
  • After Stollenwurm's attack, Kulshedra will switch to the next skill pattern for the remainder of the battle. The skills listed above won't be used.
    • Rend - Deal physical damage to single target.
    • Swipe - Deal physical damage to Front.

  • Kulshedra slams down their tail! - First action and used randomly in battle. Deal physical damage to Front. Will act faster in the next turn.
    • Kulshedra lets out a bestial roar! - Next turn after slamming their tail. Inflict Dread (The traveler will not gain BP at the start of their turn and cannot boost) to Front for 2 turns. Impart self with Phys. Atk. Up  and Elem. Atk. Up  for 3 turns.
  • Feed - Deal physical damage to single target. Inflict Bleeding (The target will take physical damage at the end of their turn) for 3 turns and absorb 1000% of damage dealt as HP.
  • Lightning Bullets - Deal damage to single target. Inflict Paralysis (The target has a certain chance of being unable to act) for 3 turns.
  • Wild Hard Claw - Deal physical damage to random target 3 time(s).
  • Corroding Breath - Deal physical damage to Front. Impart self with Phys. Atk. Down  and Elem. Atk. Down  for 3 turns.
  • Kulshedra stands ready!: Divine Beast Kulshedra enters boost mode. Uses Dark Bellow if not broken before its next action.
    • Dark Bellow - Deal damage to Front.

The Divine Beast Kulshedra is fought alongside Esmeralda.

  • Kulshedra slams down their tail! - First action and used randomly in battle. Deal physical damage to Front. Will act faster in the next turn.
    • Kulshedra lets out a bestial roar! - Next turn after slamming their tail. Inflict Dread (The traveler will not gain BP at the start of their turn and cannot boost) to Front for 2 turns. Impart self with Phys. Atk. Up  and Elem. Atk. Up  for 3 turns.
  • Feed - Deal physical damage to single target. Inflict Bleeding (The target will take physical damage at the end of their turn) for 3 turns and absorb 1000% of damage dealt as HP.
  • Lightning Bullets - Deal damage to single target. Inflict Paralysis (The target has a certain chance of being unable to act) for 3 turns.
  • Wild Hard Claw - Deal physical damage to random target 3 time(s).
  • Corroding Breath - Deal physical damage to Front. Impart self with Phys. Atk. Down  and Elem. Atk. Down  for 3 turns.
  • Kulshedra stands ready!: Divine Beast Kulshedra enters boost mode. Uses Dark Bellow if not broken before its next action.
    • Dark Bellow - Deal damage to Front.

  • Black Blade - First action and used randomly in battle. Deal damage to single target. Inflict Fatal Sentence (The traveler will be incapacitated when the effect expires) for 4 turns.
  • Attack - Deal standard physical damage to single target.
  • Sealsong Blade - Deal to single target. Inflict Silence (The target will be not able to use one skill) for 3 turns.
  • Boltbing Blade - Deal damage to single target. Inflict Paralysis (The target has a certain chance of being unable to act) for 3 turns.
  • Double Edge - Deal damage to single target 2 time(s).
  • Hack - Deal physical damage to single target 5 time(s).
  • Five Strikes - Deal damage to random target 5 time(s).
  • Raven's Flight - Impart Phys. Def. Down  to Front for 3 turns.
  • Esmeralda's blade glistens with darkness!: Esmeralda enters boost mode. Uses Dark Binding Blade if she is not broken before her next action.
    • Dark Binding Blade - Deal damage to Front 2 time(s). Inflict Silence (The target will be not able to use one skill) and Blindness (The target has a certain chance to miss physical attacks) for 3 turns.
  • Successive Strike Stance - At 50% HP or less. Permanently increases her actions per turn to two.
