The Divine Beast Jurmung is an enemy in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. It is the final boss of Emberflame Story, fought in the Chapter XVI.
Battle[]
This enemy consists of three parts: the eye, the left head snake, and the right head snake. Only the eye is targetable. Each part is independent of each other, meaning the snake parts will act even if the eye is broken.
- Black Ring // Jurmung's heads cannot be disrupted! Start of battle. The two snake heads become untargetable.
- Isolate - Start of battle, end of turn and when recovering from a break. Impart self with permanent
Intercept Phys. (The target will completely block and counter physical damage) and
Intercept Elem. (The target will completely block and counter elemental damage). Counters physical / elemental attacks by blocking its physical / elemental weakness (
