Trivia[]
- This dungeon is the only location in the main series in which only one main character is allowed to enter, even banning entry if the chosen character has NPCs that are under the Guide, Allure, Befriend, and Hire Path Actions. Even after defeating its boss, the requirement will remain in effect.
- According to the head of the Merchants Guild in Western Crackridge Wilds, a weapon known as the Fire-Dragon's Glaive can be found in the Decaying Temple. This glaive is a powerful weapon that struck down a fire-breathing fiend in the Wildlands, but it was lost to the world when a thief stole it. The chest containing the glaive can be found hidden behind a red-edged banner toward the end of the temple, in a hidden room marked with a dragon.
- Red-and-gold dragon banners identical to those found in Castle Ku can be seen hanging in the Decaying Temple, suggesting that this temple may be related to the nation of Ku.
