Trivia[]
- It is highly implied that the Dark Entity is a transformed Roi due to the following evidence:
- Parts of its dialogue after its defeat match that of what Roi told Temenos in their last meeting before his disappearance.
- During the battle, pieces of what appear to be a tattered robe are seen near its tail.
- In Ochette's quest journal "An Ill Omen," it is stated that the Dark Entity fled after being defeated by Ochette. Since the Dark Entity dissolves in a burst of smoke after the boss battle, it is unknown whether or not the beast is still alive, or if the journal contains a mistranslation.
- The Dark Entity bears strong similarities to the Grotesque Monster, as both bosses are hideous beasts located on Toto'haha, are implied to be transformed versions of humans, and summon shrill-screaming spawn to aid them in battle.
