Conjurer is an advanced job introduced in Octopath Traveler II.
In much the same way as the first game's Runelord job, this class specializes in augmenting party members with an elemental boost that allows attacks to strike both weapon and elemental weaknesses.
Proof Location[]
The Proof of the Conjurer that allows access to the Conjurer job may be obtained by completing the side story: A Tower of Trials.

Strategies[]
- It should be noted that not a single conjurer skill relies on caster's own stats for it's effectiveness. Meaning anyone can equip this job and be fully effective as Conjurer regardless of their primary job and equipment.
- Conjure skills scale with elemental attack of the person receiving them, yet can only be triggered by weapon skills and attacks. This puts them in rather interesting place where hybrid characters benefit the most, since physical characters will get very little damage from them, using them only for shield breaking, while mages will get surprisingly good damage but only when using weapon skills or attacks which in their case are very weak themselves.
- Despite conjure skills turning the color of character's weapon skills and attacks to their element's respective color, they do not change weapon's element. They are simply a follow up skill that itself has it's element. If an enemy is weak to fire and dagger attacks, and you attack with flame enchanted dagger, you will take down 2 points of shield. One for attacking with a dagger, and then one from follow up flame blast from conjure skill itself.
- Temenos Mistral benefits from SP Saver when using expensive skills such as Revive. He can use Sacred Shield, Prayer to the Flame, and Heavenly Shine to utilize his SP & BP before using Rite of the Sun, and Rise Again synergizes well with Divine Wrath. However much like with Arcanist's Price of Power, SP Saver has no effect on neither Heavenly Shine's sp cost nor damage output.
- Partitio Yellowil has a lot of BP at his disposal thanks to his Support Skills & Latent Power, so he can boost multiple Conjurer skills right when a battle starts and has many chances to benefit from BP Regeneration. He can use Sidestep, Donate BP, and Share SP to utilize his SP & BP before using Rite of the Sun, and Hang Tough gives him extra survivability in situations where Rite of the Sun is needed.
- Castti Florenz can augment her already-strong support capabilities with the Conjurer class, combining her Concoct with BP Boost and BP Regeneration to provide nearly limitless amounts of BP to her team. If someone provides her with Sealticge's Seduction, she can use Rehabilitate and Dance of Immunity to protect the party from both status ailments and enfeebling effects, preventing any buffs from being removed (except by dispelling effects, which are only available to the final and secret bosses). SP Saver is less useful to her than most, as Castti doesn't tend to be very SP intensive
- Hikari Ku can make fair use of the Conjurer class by giving him access to Bows and Staves, while the Conjure element abilities allow him versatile elemental coverage. Hikari can also use Hienka to attack and buff the party in the same turn. SP Saver can also be extremely helpful to him in using Learned Skills at reduced SP cost, which can be an enormous help with some of the more expensive ones. That being said the power of SP Saver unlocks a lot of secondary jobs that were previously just too sp intensive to be comfortably used by Hikari. Of particular note here is Armsmaster. One may choose to just take the passive and opt out of Conjurer in their favour. Another reason to not be a Conjurer as Hikari while having one in your party is the issue of two missing elements in conjure skills - light and darkness. Outside of NPC summons which are temporary solution, only Hikari himself can fill that gap via learned skills, but to spread them to others, making them effectively real conjure skills he needs the Arcanist advanced job, barring him from using this one.
- Agnea Bristarni can be viewed as both one of best and worst users of this advanced job. As nearly all Conjurer skills save Dance of Immunity already affect everyone in your party, her Latent Power sees very little use, contrary to other secondary jobs that may reap massive benefits off it. This however in itself can be a great advantage depending on circumstance. Only one skill that needs spreading to others means that her latent power can handle this problem just fine, freeing her divine skill which is the heavy cost and heavy duty version of it to be cast on other teammates. This is crucial in tougher encounters where others need it far more than Agnea. With Conjurer nothing is lost, as it'll work at full efficiency without it, providing party-wide buffs as is nothing happened.
