Celestial Intervention (Enemy) is a Debuff in Octopath Traveler.
Effects[]
When a character has Celestial Intervention (Enemy), they are prevented from receiving any Buffs. Specifically, the following status augmentations cannot be applied:
Increased Physical Attack
Increased Elemental Attack- Increased Physical Defense
- Increased Elemental Defense
- Increased Accuracy
- Increased Critical
- Increased Speed
- Increased Evasion
Additionally, many other buffs cannot be applied to them:
- BP Boost
- Celestial Intervention (Ally)
- Counterattack
- Divination
- Encore
- Incite
- Invincibility
- Regen HP
- Regen SP
- Rehabilitate
- Sidestep
- Fire Rune
- Ice Rune
- Thunder Rune
- Wind Rune
- Light Rune
- Dark Rune
- Transfer Rune
- Aelfric's Auspices
- Alephan's Enlightenment
- Dohter's Charity
- Dreisang's Spell
- Sealticge's Seduction
Causes[]
Celestial Intervention (Enemy) is only caused by the Starseer skill Celestial Intervention (when targeted at enemies). Some enemies can also inflict it on your party, such as Dreisang and Steorra.
