- "We must always remain wary of danger, especially in times of peace. That's why I became a soldier." —Ku Soldier
Castle Ku: Entrance is a town sub-area of the town of Ku: Castle Town in Octopath Traveler II. It serves as a setting for Hikari's Chapter 1 and Chapter 5, and it represents the heart of the Ku nation.
Castle Ku has stood impregnable for centuries; its gate has never been breached in all of its nation's history. Near the entrance to the castle rests the Bell of Dawn, whose ringing signifies war.
After Hikari becomes king, he removes the Bell of Dawn from its place, symbolizing the country's peaceful future. Castle Ku: Entrance, which was once off-limits to commoners, is now open to all.

Trivia[]
- During Hikari's Chapter 5, Rai Mei urges him to enter the castle without turning back. Despite this warning, the player can exit the castle and walk freely through Castle Ku: Entrance and Ku: Castle Town, interacting with 5 NPCs who offer unique dialogue: Rai Mei, Ageha, Kunzo, Zeto, and Benkei. At this time, random encounters with Mugen's soldiers will trigger if the player walks a certain distance.
- After the civil war, the wife of a local blacksmith can be found in Castle Ku: Entrance each day, visiting the castle to speak her mind and petition for a number of causes. Because her loud, passionate, and humanist arguments are well-reasoned and substantive, the government finds her quite useful as a conduit to the people. The officials under Hikari's new management collect the citizens' opinions into proposals to present to the government.
