Captain Na'gu is an enemy in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. He is the boss of Bestower of Power Chapter I.

Battle[]

Captain Na'gu will begin the battle with two Calvaries. Like his minions, Na'gu's leopard attacks after his turn.

  • Attack - Deal standard physical damage to single target.
  • Blackout Claw: Deal physical damage to single target. Inflict CotC Status Blindness Blindness (The target has a certain chance to miss physical attacks) for 2 turns.
  • Mass Blackout Claw: Deal physical damage to Front. Inflict CotC Status Blindness Blindness (The target has a certain chance to miss physical attacks) for 2 turns.
  • Frenzied Claw: Deal physical damage to random target 3 time(s).
  • Rallying Cry - Impart all allies with Buff Phys. Atk. Up Phys. Atk. Up  for 3 turns.
  • Leopard's Pursuit - Used after any movement listed above. Deal physical damage to single target.
  • Leopard's Fierce Pursuit: Can be used after Na'gu turn. Deal physical damage to Front.
  • Captain Na'gu runs astride the leopard!: At 50% HP or less. Switch to his next set of weaknesses:
    • Type IceType LightningType WindType Light
  • Hard Claw (All): Deal physical damage to Front.
  • Double Hard Claw (All): Deal physical damage to Front 2 time(s).
  • Captain Na'gu's leopard stops!: After recovering from a break. Switch to his original next set of weaknesses:
    • Type SwordsType BowsType FansType FireType Dark

  • Stall Arrow - Deal Type Bows damage to single target. Impart Debuff Spd. Down Spd. Down  for 3 turns.
  • Wild Stall Arrow - Deal Type Bows damage torandom target 3 time(s). Impart Debuff Spd. Down Spd. Down  with every attack for 3 turns.
  • Rain Arrow - Deal Type Bows damage to Front.
  • Leopard's Pursuit - Used after any movement listed above. Deal physical damage to single target.

  • Hunting Thrust - Deal Type Polearms damage to single target. Impart self with Buff Spd. Up Spd. Up  for 2 turns.
  • Wild Hunting Thrust - Deal Type Polearms damage to random target 3 time(s). Impart self with Buff Spd. Up Spd. Up  for 2 turns.
  • Frenzy - Deal physical damage to Front.
  • Leopard's Pursuit - Used after any movement listed above. Deal physical damage to single target.
