Blindness is an Ailment in Octopath Traveler.
Effects[]
When a character is afflicted by Blindness, they have extremely low accuracy, making them highly likely to outright miss standard attacks and Physical Attack Skills.
Causes[]
No Skills but Dancers summoned by Hired Help nor concoctions can blind, but a Bottle of Blinding Dust can. Some enemies and weapons can also blind.
In Octopath Traveler II, Temenos' Talent, Moonlight Judgement, inflicts Blindness on all enemies at the beginning of the battle if the battle begins at Nighttime.

Remedy[]
Blindness is cured by using an Herb of Light and prevented by equipping a Bright Stone.
