The Bestower of Wealth is one of three new paths for the Chosen One to tackle in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent and Octopath Traveler 0 in the Retribution Arc, themed around "Wealth". In it, the Chosen One returns to Valore to help Bargello and his gang in securing power. However, they soon cross paths with a wealth-hating revolutionary known as "the Have-Not", who has a connecting to the New Mafia...

Prologue - "The Witch's Legacy"[]
Time has passed since Herminia, "The Covetous Witch", met her end. Bargello went to the graves of his friends to tell them how Valore has been changing for the better. However, there are many who covet the witch's legacy - her network. Bargello was to meet with one such man, Delcado. But Delcado was found murdered by one who calls himself "the Have-not".
Chapter I - "The Have-Not"[]
A killer known as "the Have-not" is on the loose, targeting all those who possess extravagant wealth. Meanwhile, Bargello confronts the up-and-coming gang run by Delvecchio, only to find that the one pulling their strings was none other than Leopaldi the Wealthy. However, even Leopaldi could not escape the swift justice meted out by Oskha, "the Have-not". And in a stunning twist, the assassin reveals himself to be Tiziano, who was thought long dead. Bargello is struck speechless at this unlooked-for reunion, giving Oskha an opening to strike a devastating blow...
Chapter II - "Fool's Gold"[]
After receiving a letter from the Have-not, our heroes traveled to the desert town of Sufrataljah. There they learned the town's residents were suffering under the tyranny of Lord Scarabe. Upon infiltrating the palace – the place designated in the letter – they discovered a journal that spoke of something called “the Silver Spring”. It was then that the townspeople staged a rebellion. When Oskha appeared once more amidst the confusion, he stood brazenly before our heroes, declaring: “Witness the fall of Valore with your own eyes.”
