- "At last, I've found it! This is the island with the beastling village. My ancestor's writings were not a work of fiction after all!" —Foreign Traveler
Beasting Village is a town in Octopath Traveler II. Split between beastling and human settlements, this jungle village is the hometown of Ochette and the setting of her first and third story chapters.

Trivia[]
- According to Ochette, the inhabitants of Beasting Village have a saying: "Kind hunters are hungry hunters."
- As revealed in travel banter with Ochette, Temenos plans to teach the Beastlings of the village common speech so that he can better interrogate them.
- During her Chapter 3, Ochette claims that Agnea's song has brought the Beastlings and the humans of the village together.
- At night, the Villager in the tavern asks, "Did you see what that traveling dancer was wearing? Such elegance!" This may be another reference to Agnea, which is somewhat strange considering that the dancer has no story involvement in the village. It's possible that Agnea was originally intended to have more of an overt appearance in Beasting Village than was carried into the final game.
- Every building in Beasting Village was carved by a single village carpenter, who built everything to last so well that he's running out of work to do.
- The shops in the Beastlings' part of the village are the only stores in the game that trade in jerky rather than leaves.
- One of the Beastlings in the village was injured by an unprovoked human attack, and now keeps watch until dawn to ensure that no other humans sneak in.
- After Ochette's Chapter 1 is complete, the girl she rescued can be found in the human side of the village. Her biography mentions that "Ever since a certain incident, she has wanted to make friends with the beastlings," and according to her mother, all she eats now is jerky.
- One of the men who lives in Beasting Village was a once knight, but he lost everything when Ku crushed his homeland.
- The Trapper in Beasting Village sometimes sells his catch to street food vendors in Tropu'hopu.
- When composing the "Village of Beastlings" theme, Yasunori Nishiki wanted to express both a hint of wildness and the kindheartedness of the villagers. The music's overall feeling is wild and free-spirited, built out of non-folk instruments to make it sound video-game like.[1]
- Nishiki is a big fan of the night visuals for the Beasting Village. To him, the fireflies and similar details make it feel almost mystical, images that inspired him to build the night arrangement around the sound of the electric piano, giving it an appropriately otherworldly vibe.[2]
