Bale is a minor character in Octopath Traveler II. He appears briefly in Frigit Isle: Yard during Osvald's Chapter 1, serving as a prison supplier.

Personality[]
Bale is wary and closed-off, preferring to keep his own company. He has committed 126 offences, including pickpocketing, swindling, theft, and identity fraud; although of all of them are misdemeanors, he uses their sheer number to raise his standing among fellow prisoners.
Story[]
During Osvald's Chapter 1, Bale is a fellow prisoner at Frigit Isle who provides the scholar with an outfit able to withstand the freezing weather. Osvald obtains these clothes by blackmailing Bale with knowledge of his former transactions.
Bale eventually escaped during a prison riot, arriving at Crackridge Harbor: Anchorage.
